Аннотация:
Clinical guidelines (clinical protocols) are systematically developed documents intended to assist practitioner decisions in specific clinical circumstances. The first version of the clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of alcohol withdrawal was updated by the Russian Ministry of Health in 2017. The presented version (revision 2022) summarizes the latest modern scientific data on the classification, clinical picture, diagnosis, and treatment of alcohol withdrawal. It includes information about the organization of medical care, preventive interventions, and regular medical checkup of patients; defines the quality criteria for assessing medical care and algorithms for doctors’ actions, and contains information for patients. Clinical guidelines that are developed on the principles of evidence-based medicine regulate the appointment of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for alcohol withdrawal assisting to reduce medical malpractice. Currently, clinical guidelines are a mandatory basis for the provision of medical care.
