Аннотация:
The article is devoted to a review of emotional and cognitive processes and their interrelation and mutual influence in patients with addictions. The trend to develop integrative models involving investigation of cognitive and emotional processes is described. It is also shown that these processes can’t exist and stay stable independently of each other. The research literature on cognitive disturbances in addictions and their relation to disorganized behavior influenced by affect and discomfort caused by withdrawal or pathological craving has been reviewed.
