Аннотация:
Study of clinical psychopathological features of alcoholic psychoses was held among 137 older males and 24 older females. It was identified that Delirium Tremens, observed either in classical form or mussitant delirium, delirium sine delirio and delirium followed by convulsive attacks, is typical for 86.6% of men. At the same time classical as well as occupational delirium appears to be typical for women. First-time hospitalization of 65.6% of men was followed by more than 12 months remission in 65.9% of cases. More than a half of women (62.5%) were rehospitalized with 46.6% suffering from prolonged psychosis and showing less than 6 months remission. It was found out that episodic (59.8%) and lingering endoform (6.5%) alcoholic psychoses are characteristic of men, while paroxysmal psychoses (45.8%) are characteristic of women. The given alcoholic psychoses features of male and female patients are necessary to be taken into account while diagnosing, prognosticating and differentiated healing.
