Аннотация:
The content of the article "The spiritual and religious aspects of rehabilitation of persons with mental and behavioral disorders due to including substance abuse", published in the "Narcology" journal, №4 5 ’2013 has been analyzed in details. This article represents a kind of ‘an answer’ to our critical remarks related to previous article by the same authors stated in the article "Clericalization as a new appearance in Russian addictology". It has been pointed out at the facts of addiction therapy multiple ways development, efficiency of which has not been confirmed from evidence medicine point of view. Mostly exotic examples of these have been presented. Attempt to explain certain popularity of the above mentioned methods in post-soviet states has been undertaken. Attention has been attracted to specific peculiarities of psychological structure of an addicted subject seeking for and getting a certain compensation with the help of PSA psychological effects. Addictive pathology interpretations as caused by sinful way of life alongside with this disease underestimation as a serious psychic disorder have been shown as erroneous. Some interpretation of psychology and psychotropic basic notions proposed by authors differed from those existing in classic science has been considered. It has been pointed at own orthodox psychology developed by Orthodox Chirch. Grounded doubts as far as orthodox deviation advantages evidently desirable and potentially effective spiritually oriented therapy methods are concerned have been expressed. Such addiction therapy methods advantages in comparison with other trends of such practices taking into account mentality of home addicts are also doubtful.
