CHANGES IN ALCOHOL USE PATTERN, INDICATORS OF AFFECTIVE STATUS AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN PERSONS WITH ALCOHOL ADDICTION RESISTANT TO THERAPY DURING THE COURSE OF LONG-TERM SENSIBILIZING TREATMENTS

SI "Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology NAMS of Ukraine" The purpose of the researches is the analysis of modification of alcohol use pattern and , indicators of affective status and quality of life in persons with alcohol addiction (AA) resistant to therapy during the course of long-term sensibilizing treatments. Researches were carried out in three groups of pa – tients with the alcoholic dependence, receiving one of three following variants of treatment: disulfiram in combination with psychosocial support on "BRENDA" technique; cyanamid in combination with specified psychosocial support, and also isolated psychosocial support. Modification of alcohol use pattern was estimated by the retrospective analysis by TLFB (Timeline Follow back) technique; subjective effect alcoholic beverages use – by Al – mashi-Drboglava scale; dynamics of depression level – by Hamilton-21 scale; dynamics of anxiety level – by Spielberg-Khanin’s questionnaire, dyna – mics of quality of life – by Mezzich technique, and tolerance to sensibilizing preparations – by monitoring of adverse events and data of laboratory di – agnostics. Characteristic quantitative and qualitative changes of alcohol use pattern, and also changes of affective status and quality of life of persons with AA resistant to therapy are described. The conclusion about equivalence of daily administration of sensibilizing medicines and their administration "on demand" was made.
