Аннотация:
The article focuses on main prerequisites for formation and development of therapeutic communities for drug addicts, the methods applied by them as well as the role played inbiopsychosocial rehabilitation process. The problems associated with activity of therapeutic communities in the Russian Fe – deration were shown. The conclusion stresses the importance of the fact that the most profound biopsychosocial rehabilitation of addicted patients can be achieved in synergic interaction of state-sponsored treatment programs for drug addicts with special rehabilitation programs of therapeutic communities.
