Аннотация:
Synthetic cannabinoids are a relatively new class of designer drugs. Mechanisms of toxic and addictive actions these xenobiotics are associated with their ability to endocannabinoid systems modulation through activation of first subtype cannabinoid receptors. The intermediate products ofbi – otransformation retain the biological activity. The affinity of many synthetic cannabinoids and their metabolites to the first subtype receptors exce – eds that for 9-tetrahydrocannabinol. Therefore, toxicity and addictive potential of these compounds are noticeably higher. The consequence of this situation have become frequent overdoses. A separate issue is the use of synthetic cannabinoids by drivers. In this review attempted to describe toxicological characterization of a new class of drugs. The processes of toxicokinetics, toxicodynamics and clinical aspects of the problem are reviewed.
