Experimental study of psychoactivity of sibutramine and didesmetilsibutramine on laboratory animals

Аннотация:
Explanation: found that a single albino mice received a dose of sibutramine in and its metabolite M2 at a dose equivalent used by people to achieve altered states of consciousness have different effects, causing significant changes in the structure of behavioral stress response. Also showed similar behavioral effect metabolite M2 with behavioral effects of amphetamine-type substances. Objectives: To determine the presence and specificity of mental activity of sibutramine and its metabolite M2, including the degree of similarity of their effects on laboratory animals rendered – in aspect of the structure of spontaneous locomotor activity of animals in the model stress terms. Results: sibutramine considered in dose does not cause long-term systematic bias curve energy circadian locomotor activity relative to the control, whereas didesmetilsibutramin showed pronounced and prolonged induction motor activity in the conditions of a model of stress. Conclusions: didesmetilsibutramin, being a structural analogue of sibutramine has no functionally similar, and are not completely determines the behavioral effects of sibutramine (such as metabolite), from the viewpoint of actographical study.
