We offer the publication of evidence-based recommendations for the prevention and treatment of tobacco dependence, prepared by the working group "Public Health" in the framework of the Russian-American program of cooperation of civil society institutions (CSPP). The document is intended for health professionals and consumers of tobacco and according to the authors is a comprehensive set of tools to aid in the cessation of tobacco use and treatment of tobacco dependence
