Аннотация:
Attention is paid to the article of the Russian National Scientific Center of Addictology "Emotional burnout syndrome: origin, theories, prevention, research, perspectives". The uncertainty of the notion "emotional burnout syndrome" (EBS) and not clear differentiation from other conditions, associated with the same clinical picture, are underlined. The drawbacks and narrowness of psychological tests and questionnaires used in diagnostics of EBS are pointed out. The authors state the unsoundness of home publications on the issue from the point of evidence-based medicine. There was mentioned the article "Burnout syndrome in specialists on addictions: phantom or clinical reality?" in which there was proved that psychological and somatic problems in narcologists can’t be associated with EBS. There are specialists, who didn’t undergo "burnout", and this phenomenon should be further studied. There was developed the concept of destructive professional genesis instead of EBS.
