Аннотация:
The paper analyzes A.R. Dovzhenko’s biography. The myth created by him and his followers about special uniqueness of his personality and the possibility of miraculous healing from the chronic disease is discussed. The practice of treatment by the method of ‘coding’ is outlined, and the hypotheses explaining possible mechanisms of its work are advanced. The long-term results of A.R. Dovzhenko and his adepts’ activity are analyzed.
