Аннотация:
Regarding the growing prevalence of tobacco use among adolescents and young people, particularly urgent question is the development and implementation of clinical guidelines for smoking cessation in adolescents. The cohort prospective randomized study involving 58 smokers adolescents, including 33 male and 25 female, aged 11 17 years (mean age 12,34 ± 0,073 years) was conducted. The study assessed the effectiveness of motivation programs to reduce the intensity of tobacco smoking among adolescent using as the target evaluation points: the number of cigarettes per day, the smoking index (SI), frequency of acute respiratory diseases, spirometry parameters and rates of carbon monoxide (CO) in exhaled air. Although the low motivation to quit tobacco use in adolescents was found out, along with significant number of the reasons that motivated them to continue smoking, assessed health indicators (basically and in 6 month)s the number of cigarettes per day, the smoking index, the frequency of acute respiratory infections, spirometry parameters and carbon monoxide (CO) in exhaled air, were objectively better in the experimental group of patients, which reduced the intensity of the area against the background of imotivation programs.
