Tobacco (TC) is a controllable risk factor for cervical cancer (CC), the removal of which can be an effective method of preventing this form of cancer. The technique of the qualified help in the rejection of the TC acceptable for obstetrician-gynecologist primary health care system. 107 smoking patients were assisted in the rejection of the TC on the presented method. Analysis of the effectiveness of aid made by a qualified refusal of TC showed that 20.6% of patients did not change their smoking behavior; 11.2% – have attempted to abandon TC after appropriate consultation, but without any result; 19.6% – have managed to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked by 30% or more; completely stopped smoking for different terms – 48.6% of the patients. The presented method of skilled care in the rejection of the TC, shown sufficient efficacy and can be recommended for implementation in practical health care.
