Аннотация:
The findings of the research proactivity and locus of control in persons with substance abuse disorders undergoing pharmacological treatment and psychotherapy are presented. These results indicate that patients undergoing pharmacological treatment have low self-control, prediction and anticipation, proactive and preventive coping, strategic planning, spontaneity, internal locus of control, metamotivation. Proactivity is below normal in both samples. We revealed the relationship between the internal locus of control and proactivity. In this regard, an assumption we make in this paper is that internality and proactivity are predictors of treatment efficacy. High proactivity as protective factor in drug addiction provides health behavior.
