Аннотация:
Abuse of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (NDPS) currently remains one of the most pressing health and social problems in contemporary society. Applying anonymous questioning method, authors studied risk factors for youth involvement in the NDPS consumption. The article examines the awareness of students of several Moscow colleges on the negative consequences of consumption of NDPS and their effects on the human body. The findings suggest that the youth formed a relatively superficial understanding of the negative effects of the consumption of a number of drugs, which in turn leads to an increased risk of involving young people in drug abuse.
