Аннотация:
Despite the large number of studies many aspects of the various neurochemical and physiological effects of substances with psychostimulant proper-ties remain largely unclear. The caffeine is one of the most commonly used psychostimulant substance in the world. The literature data about neurop-hysiology! and neurochemical effects of caffeine were analyzed in this review. The experimental data obtained by the review's authors concerning a participation of the peripheral opioid system and nitroergic brain's systems in the mechanisms of action of caffeine in different doses were described.
