THE COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF NONSPECIFIC RESISTANCE IN YOUNG MALE AND FEMALE ALCOHOL ABUSERS

Аннотация:
Adolescents alcohol abusers on the 1 – , 3-, 5-, 7-, and 10th day after the last dose of alcohol were examined. Abused alcohol adolescents showed the increase of oxygen-dependent activity in phagocytic cells. Throughout the observation period the capture lowering of a pathogenic agent, which is compensated by increased phagocytes activity was observed. Gender differences in neutrophil granulocytes phagocytic activity in alcohol abusers adolescents were identified. Oxygen-dependent mechanisms of phagocytes more rapidly activate in alcohol abuse among boys than girls, but for all that reserve opportunities of oxygen-dependent potentials go faster. In boys unlike the girls the phagocytes activity increased since the first day after drinking alcohol with a maximum raising on the 7th day. In boys, unlike the girls activity of myeloperoxidase was significantly lower than in the control group on the 5th day. Revealed gender difference peculiarities of immune system reactions in alcohol abuse should be considered when patient’s state clinical laboratory evaluation.
