Аннотация:
The therapeutic effect of small doses of antipsychotic preparation aethaperazine (perphenazine) on disturbed cognitive functions in alcoholic patients was more favorable as compaired to nootropic drug piracetam (2400 mg per day) administered to analogous patients. Along with the absence of any undesirable side effects relating to perphenazine it all says of expediency to use small doses of perphenazine not only to arrest the productive psychopathology of alcoholism, i.e. craving for alcohol, but also to correct negative psychopathology, i.e. the weakening of cognitive functions in alcoholic patients. That would mean the extension of clinical indications to use perphenazine in narcological practice.
