Рsychopathological characteristics of women from dysfunctional families.

Kotov S.V., Scheidegger Y.M.

Аннотация:
The article presents the results of a psychopathological study of women who were raised in dysfunctional families (in families where the father abused alcohol), according to which this category of women has a predominant expression of such psychological defenses as repression, denial and projection; the most pronounced avoiding coping strategies and less represented coping strategies focused on solving the problem; less pronounced indicators of subjective well-being, such as autonomy and personal growth; significantly expressed indicators such as codependency, self-blame, and attachment of an alarmingly contradictory type; positive reassessment is poorly represented in the cognitive regulation of emotions, which is probably directly related to disharmonious relationships in families with severe alcohol dependence of the progenitors.
