Аннотация:
Aim: to study the features of hemodynamics and vascular tone of the brain in patients with alcohol dependence. Methods. The study involved 106 patients (82 men and 24 women) aged 30 to 53 years with an established diagnosis of alcohol dependence on the 3–5-th day of admission to the hospital after detoxification. The control group included 54 mentally and somatically healthy people (30 men and 24 women) aged 30–55 years. The recording and analysis of the parameters of hemodynamics and vascular tone of the brain was carried out on a Rheograph-polyanalyzer "Rean-Poly" at rest in a sitting position with closed eyes in the fronto-mastoid and occipito-mastoid leads. The average recording time was 1 minute. The following parameters were analyzed: rheographic index, peripheral vascular resistance index, diastolic index, pulse wave propagation time, dicrotic index, and vascular elasticity index. Results. Analysis of the parameters of the rheoelectroencephalogram in both leads revealed statistically significant differences between patients with alcohol dependence and control in all indicators (p<0.05), except for the diastolic index. Conclusion. Thus, the parameters of the rheoelectroencephalogram in patients with alcohol dependence indicate the state of angiodystonia with a tendency to hypertension of the cerebral arteries with reduced volumetric pulse blood filling in the carotid and vertebro-basilar basins.
