Аннотация:
According to a number of studies, about 6 out of 10 patients with alcohol dependence relapse within the first 6 months after detoxification. Such a high rate of relapse in a relatively short period of time is the reason for the search for prognostic factors for therapeutic remission of alcohol dependence. According to the widespread theory of hyperreactivity, alcohol dependence is accompanied by a violation of the stabilization of bioelectric activity in the form of a predominance of arousal processes in the cerebral cortex, which may underlie the breakdown of therapeutic remission. 76 men aged 30 to 55 years with an established diagnosis of alcohol dependence were examined. The duration of the last remission achieved as a result of the previous treatment was determined on the basis of catamnestic data from the patient’s medical records. Background EEG parameters were recorded and analyzed. The spectral power parameters were analyzed, on the basis of which the EEG reactivity index was calculated. The study showed that patients with unstable therapeutic remission had a statistically significantly higher reactivity index in the frontal (p=0.013), central (p=0.001), parietal (p=0.037) and occipital (p=0.017) leads compared to patients with established stable remission.
