Аннотация:
Clinical guidelines (clinical protocols) are systematically developed documents intended to assist practitioner decisions in specific clinical circumstances. Clinical guidelines that are developed on the principles of evidence-based medicine regulate the appointment of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for alcohol withdrawal assisting to reduce medical malpractice. Currently, clinical guidelines are a mandatory basis for the provision of medical care. Clinical guidelines on tobacco dependence syndrome, tobacco withdrawal syndrome were developed by the Russian Respiratory Society and the Association of Narcologists in 2018, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and placed in the register of clinical guidelines of the Ministry of Health (identification number KR601). Clinical guidelines are developed on the basis of an integrated approach to the treatment of tobacco (nicotine) addiction and the consequences of tobacco and nicotine consumption, which significantly increases the effectiveness of treatment. This draft is a revision of the Clinical Practice Guidelines, which is required every 3 years to confirm the level of credibility of the recommendations and the level of evidence of the approaches included in the recommendations. In this version, information on tobacco and nicotine-containing products, the use of which can lead to the development of nicotine addiction, has been expanded. Included is a section on assessing the status of tobacco / nicotine use and a brief consultation by doctors of all specialties when examining patients who use tobacco / nicotine. Included is a section on the provision of medical care to persons with nicotine addiction who are undergoing treatment in an inpatient setting for various diseases. This makes it possible in hospitals where the use of tobacco and nicotine-containing products is prohibited, to provide assistance to patients with nicotine addiction in order to reduce the development of withdrawal symptoms, increase motivation to quit tobacco / nicotine use and start treatment for the disease. The clinical guidelines were developed under the auspices of the Chief Freelance Psychiatrist-Narcologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia E.A. Brune and the Chief Freelance Specialist of the Pulmonologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia S.N. Avdeeva.
