Аннотация:
A review of domestic and foreign scientific publications on wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) is given. The relevance of WBE as a method for assessing temporal and spatial trends of psychoactive substances (PAS) consumption is considered. It assesses the prospects of WBE in order to determine the composition of PAS consumed by the population and assess the level of their content, which, taking into account a number of objective and subjective factors, can be considered as a tool to study the state of mental health of the population based on objective, integral data of consumption of narcotic drugs, psychotropic, potent substances, alcohol and nicotine.
