Аннотация:
Introduction. Anxiety and depression, as significant covariates for the relationship between alexithymia and alcohol dependence, have been included in only a small number of studies that have been conducted to date. One of the most common psychopathological disorders in addiction diseases are affective disorders.
Methods. The analysis of the emotional sphere of adolescents with drug addiction during the rehabilitation period has been carried out. The study involved 60 adolescents who are addicted to drugs and who are in rehabilitation centers. The study of the syndromes of depression and anxiety, the personality characteristics of alexithymia and parental prescriptions (one of the elements of the formation of a life scenario (E. Bern). We used nonparametric methods of statistics – the Mann–Whitney U test and the Spearman rank correlation coefficient ρ analysis. A comparative analysis was carried out between the selected groups by nonparametric methods and methods of factorial and cluster analysis.
Results. Highlighted the correlation between alexithymia, the prevalence of depressive manifestations and the intensity of negative parental prescriptions. And the non-alexithymic type has a high level of situational anxiety.
Conclusion. The revealed relationship between alexithymia, anxiety, depression and negative parental messages makes it possible to understand that addiction acts as a formed need. The focus is a complex of certain emotional states, thereby transferring and concentrating attention to alexithymia makes it possible for the owner of these disorders to be aware of and interpret them into an integral mental space.
