Аннотация:
Aim: a comparative analysis of alcohol dependence syndrome (ADS) diagnostic criteria in international classifications of diseases to determine their values in modern clinical practice. Methods. A comprehensive analysis of the WHO provisions medical classifications – the International Classification of Diseases, Injuries and Causes of Death (ICD), the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and other classifications and databases used in the practical work of psychiatric doctors in different countries was carried out. Results. The analysis of ADS diagnostic criteria in the main international classifications of mental and behavioral disorders, despite certain differences in their application in practice and formulations, indicates their closeness in conceptual terms. Within the framework of patients with ADS rehabilitation programs, the use of ICF is justified, which allows considering rehabilitation directions from the standpoint of a biopsychosocial model, rather than a clinical diagnosis. The emerging trend towards cooperation on improving international classifications contributes to improving the effectiveness of providing care to patients with alcohol dependence within the framework of a personalized approach.
