Аннотация:
The article is devoted to assessing the effectiveness of the computer program: "Early diagnosis of alcohol and drug use" (Certificate of registration 2020615077 of 14.05.2020) in relation to the identification of alcohol use disorders in persons undergoing medical examination in Samara. As part of the study, it was found that out of 263 persons who underwent medical examination, signs of alcohol use disorders were detected in 20.9% of cases (95% CI: 16.0–25.8), while only 4.9% of patients previously drug addicts showed a drug disease associated with alcohol consumption. At the same time, as part of the standard assessment of the risk of harmful alcohol consumption (using the AUDIT-C test), these risks were not identified in any applicant. It was also established that the average score on the diagnostic scale of alcohol-associated diseases in persons who had previously turned to a narcologist was statistically significantly higher than in patients who had not previously turned to a narcologist, which indicates the effectiveness of a registered program for computers as a tool for diagnosing alcohol problems in patients going to medical examination.
