Objective: to study preventive schemes for the treatment of emergency medical care for psychiatric disorders comorbid with the abuse of synthetic cannabinoids.
Participants: 247 men (age 31.2 ± 0.45 years) who abuse synthetic cannabinoids, among them with diagnoses: F60.xx-F62.xx – 127, F20.xx – 120.
Methods: follow-up, clinical-psychopathological, psychometric (CGI), statistical (R version 3.2.4; и SPSS Statistics Base 22.0).
Results and conclusion. Effective in the treatment of the considered acute psychotic conditions are the therapy regimens used by specialized visiting psychiatric emergency teams, including a combination of drugs with pronounced sedative and antipsychotic properties – a combination of conventional antipsychotics and antipsychotics with tranquilizers. The most effective combination of neuroleptics in the treatment of acute psychotic conditions, which causes a reduction in symptoms, reduces the risks of: recurrence of an acute psychotic state within a week, initiation and early development of the schizophrenic process, rehospitalization, development of hospitalism. It seems appropriate to bring up for discussion by clinicians the question of the possibility of introducing second-generation injectable antipsychotics into the psychopharmacological arsenal of specialized mobile psychiatric emergency teams as first-line drugs for use in the early stages of the treatment of acute psychotic states in order to exclude possible negative somatic consequences.
