Background. In recent decades, there has been a steady increase in patients with addiction of psychostimulants, as well as dependence on combinations of narcotic substances that have a psychostimulating effect on the psyche. At the same time, there are still no proven, effective treatment regimens for affective disorders in the postabstinent period in such patients.
Aim: to develop a personalized approach to the treatment of patients with addiction of psychostimulants, taking into account affective disorders.
Methods. The study included 325 patients with addiction of psychostimulants. Methods: clinical-psychopathological, psychometric (Montgomery-Asberg scale for depression assessment (Montgomery-Asberg Depression rating, MADRS), anamnestic information from patients and their relatives, catamnestic observation data, statistical.
Results. The features of affective disorders and their intensity in patients were identified depending on the drug used or their combinations together with psychostimulants and the presence of comorbid psychiatric pathology. The effectiveness of pharmacotherapy of affective disorders in various groups of patients was evaluated.
Conclusion. Based on the results obtained, 3 personalized profiles of patients with addiction of psychostimulants were identified, taking into account affective disorders and psychopharmacological methods of their correction.
