Аннотация:
Aim: to identify the features of the spatial distribution of biopotentials and their sources in the structures of the brain in patients with alcohol dependence. Methods. 44 patients with alcohol dependence and 52 healthy individuals aged 18 to 60 years were examined. An electroencephalogram was recorded at rest with the processing of the received recordings in the BrainLoc program in order to localize the sources of bioelectric activity in 8 axial sections. Results. It was found that the parameters of equivalent dipole sources were determined in patients with alcohol dependence mainly in the deepest – 8th (63.6%) axial section, whereas in healthy individuals the sections prevailed: 5 (28,8%), 6 (32,7%) and 7 (26.9%). In addition, the predominant left-sided tendency of brain activity in patients with alcohol dependence was revealed. Conclusion. Alcohol dependence is accompanied by regional changes in biopotentials, as well as involvement in the pathological process of deeper brain structures (8th axial section) with a predominant left–sided tendency. The obtained data expand the existing understanding of the neurophysiological mechanisms of addictive disorders and can be used in the construction of differential diagnostic programs in clinical practice.
