Аннотация:
The misuse of alcohol and psychoactive substances (Substances) is inextricably linked to auto-aggressive behavior and violence among adults and adolescents. The risk of auto-aggressive behavior may be due to a combination of factors, including age, gender, the presence of mental disorders, genetic predisposition.
The aim of the work: To study the problem of the relationship between alcohol and substance abuse and auto-aggressive behavior, to consider the reasons for the formation of such behavior, its types.
Methods. The article presents a narrative review of domestic and foreign literature. Articles in the databases ELibrary.ru, PubMed, the search system «google scholar» published in medical journals, as well as relevant links in the lists of references of the analyzed sources were selected and analyzed. The search was conducted using various variations of the specified keywords. Inclusion criteria: full-text articles in Russian: publication date – from 2010 to 2021, indexed in the RSCI, which are in the public domain. Foreign articles: publication date – from 1985 to 2021, the presence of an abstract. Exclusion criteria: abstracts; monographs, study guides; inconsistency with the research topic.
Results. The review considers auto-aggression as a personality trait from various aspects: social, psychological, psychiatric. Analysis of literary sources indicates that people with mental disorders, people who have experienced psychological trauma, as well as adolescents are at increased risk of auto-aggressive behavior.
