Аннотация:
Introduction. In recent years, the number of patients with addiction of psychostimulants has been rapidly increasing. For the treatment of these disorders, rehabilitation programs are mainly used, the evaluation of the effectiveness of which is not always carried out properly and violations in the main areas of patients’ lives remain unresolved, which often leads to disruption and relapse of the disease. The aim is a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures in patients with addiction of psychostimulants.
Methods. 325 patients with addiction of psychostimulants who underwent a course of medical and social rehabilitation at the department of the Moscow Drug Addiction Center were studied. Methods: clinical and psychopathological, psychometric, anamnestic information from patients and their relatives, catamnestic observation data, statistical. A comprehensive assessment of the severity of dependence on psychostimulants was carried out using the Russian-language version of the questionnaire: «Index of severity of addiction: Treatnet version» upon admission to the rehabilitation department and after 12 months of catamnestic observation.
Results. In the post-withdrawal period, in most patients in all groups, disorders of extreme severity corresponded to disorders in such life spheres as «lack of work and livelihood», «use of psychoactive substances», «disturbed social and family status of patients», as well as «mental status disorders» in patients with comorbid psychiatric pathology. After undergoing rehabilitation and catamnestic observation, the best dynamics in the main spheres of life was observed in patients with addiction only of psychostimulants. Patients with combined addiction of psychostimulants and other surfactants and comorbid psychiatric pathology retained disorders in some significant areas of life.
Conclusion. The identified main clinical characteristics of patients, together with the main disorders in significant life spheres of patients with addiction of psychostimulants, determined in dynamics, will contribute to a more intensive and differentiated use of psychotherapeutic techniques in the rehabilitation of these patients, in order to increase the duration of remission and its quality.
