Background. In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the number of patients with addiction of psychostimulants. Rehabilitation is recognized by most researchers as one of the most effective methods of treating this pathology. However, the number of patients with addiction of psychostimulants undergoing the rehabilitation stage of treatment remains small. It seems relevant to study the features of motivational work carried out with patients and aimed at their inclusion and retention in the rehabilitation program.
Aim: to evaluate the effectiveness of motivational work aimed at passing and retaining in the rehabilitation program of patients with addiction of psychostimulants.
Methods. The study included 325 patients with addiction of psychostimulants. Methods: clinical-psychopathological, anamnestic, catamnestic, statistical. The effectiveness of motivational work was assessed by the number of standard and enhanced motivational interventions aimed at patients passing the rehabilitation stage and retaining them in the program.
Results. 3 groups of patients were identified, depending on the option of using a psychoactive substance together with psychostimulants and the presence of comorbid psychiatric pathology. The evaluation of motivational work with patients in the process of treatment and rehabilitation measures was carried out.
Conclusion. Based on the analysis of the results obtained, conclusions were drawn on the peculiarities of motivational work in the selected groups of patients with addiction of psychostimulants in the post-withdrawal period.
