Аннотация:
Persons who suffer from drug addiction diseases are provided with inpatient medical care in health care institutions with the psychiatry-narcology profile.
Drug addiction complications in the form of psychotic disorders do not allow the patient to express his will, that is, to provide mandatory informed voluntary consent to any medical intervention. Domestic legislation causes textual discrepancy to the algorithm for involuntary hospitalization of drug treatment patients, but the experience of psychiatric services provides the opportunity to administrate the law enforcement in this clinical situation.
